18u Red takes down the GMB Gold Ring Nationals in Impressive Fashion

St Louis Redbirds 18u Red entered the GMB Gold Ring Nationals with the mindset of coming out with some rings! 18u Red kicked off the weekend with a 10-0 short game win over RBI Milwaukee and a 4-1 win over the St Louis Naturals to begin pool play 2-0.

18u Red ended up drawing the 2 seed in the tournament and took down Team Mascoutah 5-1 in the first game of bracket play. With the win over Team Mascoutah, 18u Red earned themselves a championship berth against the 1 seed Akadema Mustangs. The Mustangs were no match for 18u Red as they coasted easily to a 9-1 victory to take down the GMB Gold Ring Nationals and brought home the rings.

This is 18u Red's second tournament win of the season. Up next for 18u Red is the US Open Wood Bat Event hosted by 314 Tournaments.
