Bob Grana
Redbirds President 1987-2009
Founder and president of the St Louis Redbirds from its inception until 2009. Bob's contributions to not only the Redbirds but youth baseball in the city of St Louis are unparalleled. Under his regime, the Redbirds saw hundreds of players advance through the program to college and professional baseball.

David Freese
Redbirds Player 1997-2001
David was a Redbirds player from 1997-2001. While wearing the birds uniform David won 2 SLABA league MVP awards, was selected to 4 all star teams and was on the winningest team in program history, the 2001 team that went 54-3. After playing Redbirds, Freese hang moved on to an excellent major league baseball career.

Ryan Howard
Redbirds Player 1995-1999
Redbirds player from 1995-1999, Howard was an offensive weapon, still today Ryan holds many offensive records in Redbirds history. While a member of the Redbirds Howard was a 4 time all star and 2 time all state selection. After his Redbirds career Howard played at Missouri St University then was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies. Over his major league career his accolades includes multiple all star selections and a home run derby championship.

Matt Buschmann
Redbirds Player 1998-2002
Matt was a Redbirds player from 1998-2002 as was the ACE on the Redbirds 2001 team that finished with a 54-3 record. Along with leading dominate pitching staffs for the Redbirds he also was selected to 4 all star teams and is the 3rd winningest pitcher in Redbirds history. After high school Buschmann went on to pitch at Vanderbilt University and was selected in the 12th round by the San Diego Padres. Matt is married to Sportscenter anchor Sarah Walsh.

Luke Voit
Redbirds Player 1997-2009
Luke played Redbirds from the time he started playing when he was 5 years old through his graduating 18 year old year. Voit was one of the best all around players to play in the organization, bring power, speed, defense, and baseball IQ has carried him to the level he is at today. After graduating from Lafayette High School he went on to play for Missouri St University and was a 21st round draft pick of the St Louis Cardinals. Today Luke is the first basement for the Memphis Redbirds (Triple A affiliate) for the Cardinals.

Kyle Grana
Redbirds Player 1995-2009
Kyle is the son of Redbirds founder Bob Grana, playing Redbirds for entirely of Redbirds career. While with the Redbirds Grana was a 9 time SLABA all star and all state selection at Lafayette High School. After Redbirds Kyle went onto pitch at Johnson County CC & Bellermine University and was a free agent sign of the St Louis Cardinals in 2013. While with the Cardinals, Kyle was a 3 time all star and 2015 Cardinals minor league pitcher of the year. In 2017 he was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the rule 5 draft and currently pitches for the Dodgers triple A team.

Shannon Wheeler
Redbirds Player 1994-2000
Shannon was a member of the Redbirds from 1994-2000. After his playing career was completed Wheeler rejoined the program and coached the Varsity team for 5 seasons. During college Shannon played at University of Missouri, Meramec CC, and Bellermine University. Currently serves as a advisor to the Redbirds front office and coaches baseball at Marquette High School.

Sam Basta
Redbirds Player 1998-2004
Sam played Redbirds for 6 seasons and currently is the Vice President of the St Louis Redbirds and 314 Sports Management. While with the Redbirds he was a 6 time all star, 3 time league MVP, and 3 time all state player at Marquette High School. Basta was a draft pick out of High School by the Baltimore Orioles and pitched in their farm system for 5 seasons.

Grant Staniszewski
Redbirds Player 1997-2002
Redbirds player from 1997-2002, and was a member of the 2001 team that posted a record of 54-3. While with the Redbirds, Stano was the leader behind the plate, best overall catcher is program history. His combination of athleticism and smarts brought a unique approach to the catcher position. His skills brought many professional scouts during his High School years being scouted by almost every Major League team. Grant was a 36th round draft pick of the Chicago Cubs out of Marquette High School.

E.J. Basta
Redbirds Player 1997-2002
Redbirds player from 1997-2002, currently is owner and operator of St Louis Redbirds Baseball, 314 Tournaments, and 314 Training Academy. During his playing career Basta won 4 league MVP's, was a 5 time all star, and 3 time all state player at Marquette High School. After graduating he went on the play Meramec CC, South Alabama University, and Missouri Baptist University. After graduating E.j. played for the Gateway Grizzles and Rockford Riverhawks of the Frontier League.

Tony Grana
Redbirds Player 1992-1998
Tony is son to Redbirds founder Bob Grana and brother to Hall of Fame member Kyle Grana. While a member of the Redbirds during his playing career Grana was selected to multiple all star teams and led numerous groups deep into postseason play. College career was played at Missouri St University and UMSL. After completing playing career Grana came back to the program and coached the Varsity team for 4 seasons.

Harry Lucas
Redbird Coach 1993-2000
Harry was a member of the Redbirds coaching and Board of Directors from 1993-2000. While with the organization Harry coached at all High School levels and participated in program operations. He work helped build the foundation the organization has today. Along with coaching Redbirds, Lucas also was the Varsity hockey coach at Desmet High School winning multiple state championships.

Steve Miller
Redbird Administrator 1997-2003
Steve Miller served as a front office and lead administrator for the Redbirds organization from 1997-2003. While with the Redbirds Miller helped construct the growth of the youth program and high school teams. For many years Miller served as the Athletic Director at Lafayette High School in Wildwood, MO

Scott Denoyer
Redbird Coach 1994-2000
Redbird coach from 1994 to 2000, coaching High School teams at 16u and 18u divisions. While with the Redbirds he guided teams to 5 league championships and two World Series appearances. Currently Denoyer is the baseball and softball coach at Lafayette High School in Wildwood, MO.
