  E.j. Basta   

Owner & President 

Owner and operator of 314 Sports Management. E.J. has been the President of the Redbirds since 2010. As a Redbird player from 1996-2002 E.J. is one of the most decorated players in Redbirds history winning 4 league MVP awards. A 2006 Hall of Fame Inductee still holds the program records in HR, doubles, and ERA.. Since taking over the Redbirds in 2010 the program has reached new heights in enrollment with over 700 players and 50 plus teams. 

The amount of players we have sent to college & professional baseball is almost too long to list in our 29 years. But we have had 1,000 players advance to college, 200 to the professional level, and a handful of MLB players, some who have had amazing careers.

 Sam Basta  

Vice President of 314 Sports Management since 2012 but  has been a part of the Redbirds program since 1998 first as a player (2006 Hall of Fame Inductee), then as a coach, and now our Vice President. Sam was drafted out of high school by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2006 MLB draft as a left handed pitcher and pitched in their farm system for five seasons. As a Redbirds player Sam ranks in the top 3 in an astonishing 13 statistics in program history.

Sam also is entering his 11th season
as the assistant varsity baseball coach at West County powerhouse of Marquette High School. He has 2 kids and his wife Elizabeth is the Marquette Cheerleading coach.

Vice President

 Aaron Basler  

Vice President

Vice President of 314 Sports Management and member of the Redbirds staff since our ownership change in 2010. Aaron has been with us since the beginning and one of the most well respected employee as he has worn "every hat" over the years.

Coach Basler is  a Ste. Genevieve, MO native played his collegiate baseball at Missouri Baptist University. Coaching at the college level before joining the Redbirds, Basler brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization as a whole running the High School programs day to day operations and coaching our TOP national varsity team on a yearly basis, with a roster of all players who are signed to play collegiate baseball.

 Eric Moser  

Eric has been a Redbird since 2008 as a youth player and four year high school player. Following his playing days he attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with 2 degrees from the Mendoza College of Business.

Coach Moser has been with the Redbirds as a coach for 7 years, coaching teams of all age groups and skill levels, and transitioned to a front office role as the General Manager in 2021. He is currently the head coach of 11u Prime and oversees training and development of players of all age groups in the youth program. 

General Manager

 Cameron Duke  

Cameron is from Jackson, MO where he played 4 years of varsity baseball before taking his talents to Shawnee Community College. After 2 years of junior college Coach Cam transferred to Missouri Valley University where he finished out his playing career. 

This season will be a milestone 5th year with the Redbirds and 314 Sports. Cameron's focus is "on field development" guiding our coaches and people in charge of the teams. From practice plans, tournament strategy, and weekly communications, Cameron is involved with every team. 

While overseeing the youth program Mr Duke is the coach of the Redbirds "15u Scout Team" which is one of the best 15u teams in the country.

 Jacob Abraham  

Director Of Implementation & Lead Trainer

Jacob has been a coach and instructor at the youth, high school and collegiate levels for 24 years and has been a coach with the St Louis Redbirds for 15 seasons.

Coach Abraham is one of the most experienced coaches/trainers in the St Louis area. While with 314 Training Academy he has worked with numerous high school players who have advanced on to play at the collegiate level, and helped hundreds of youth players of all levels advance their skills both offensively and defensively to become better ballplayers.

 Jeramy Allerdissen  

Youth Coordinator & Lead Instructor

Jeramy has been with the Redbirds baseball program since 2008 serving many different roles throughout the organization.

Currently Jeramy is the youth development coordinator for the St Louis Redbirds baseball organization along with being the lead instructor at 314 Training Academy working with 100s of players of all ages and skill levels to become better ball players..
