Luke Voit Earnes his Pinstripes in the Bronx

St Louis Redbirds own Luke Voit was recently traded from the St Louis Cardinals to the New York Yankees. In New York Voit got off to a sluggish start which he attributed to pressing a bit and trying to do too much to impress his new team. After a short stint in Triple A Scranton-Wilkesbury Luke made his return to the Yankees and he has not looked back.

In limited play he has launched 7 home runs while hitting over .330 and helping the Yankees to a hopefully wildcard playoff game here in a few weeks.
